Griff Henderson is the northwest regional ministry partner for Oklahoma Baptists. He serves the directors of missions in seven associations in northwest Oklahoma and ministers to pastors and their churches in order to help them advance the Gospel in a greater way. This involves helping with the spiritual, emotional and mental health of church leaders by providing resources, leading conferences and traveling many miles over rural northwest Oklahoma for in-person support.

Griff enjoys seeing God intervene in special and unique ways, especially when a church or pastor is in crisis.

“I once met a young pastor who months later contacted me about a crisis in his church,” he said. “I was able to walk with him through those hard times and saw God do great things in this situation. It was very rewarding for me.”

Griff believes in doing whatever it takes to keep Oklahoma Baptist churches healthy and thriving, so those who do not yet have a relationship with Christ can be reached and welcomed into a loving church family.

Giving through the Cooperative Program makes it possible for Griff and other regional ministry partners be able to help churches advance the Gospel. Pray God would provide generously and touch the hearts of His people to give. Pray for the health and well-being of the Henderson family. Pray Griff would be wise in planning the best choices for ministry, as opportunities change week-to-week. Pray Griff would love God deeply and share that with others.

Because of the generous giving of Oklahoma Baptists through the Cooperative Program, an amazing array of ministries are supported. This unified giving encourages fellowship with other believers all over the world. Collectively, Oklahoma Baptists are advancing the Gospel together.
