Falls Creek is constantly expanding and changing its programming to provide venues of interaction with a broad array of student personalities, interests, and giftedness.  While it is critical that some elements of programming never change, it is also critical that others do to meet the objective of connecting with and reaching students for Christ.

MORNING SCHEDULE AND WORSHIP SERVICE

With the opening of the Mathena Family Event Center, our morning schedule is going to look different than the past several years. Breakfast will be at 8:15 a.m., followed by Quiet Time (for all ages) at 9 a.m. The typical daily 9:05 a.m. Sponsor Meeting in the Massey Chapel will now take place at 9:20 a.m.

The doors of the tabernacle will open for the Morning Worship Service at 9:25 a.m., with the service starting at 9:45 a.m. All age groups will attend at the same time, and youth groups will sit in the same seats they had the night before.

Everyone will worship together, and then at 10:10 a.m., Middle School students (those who have completed the 6th and 7th grades) will be dismissed to the Event Center for their teaching time, while graduating seniors will be dismissed to the Chapel for Next Chapter. High School students will remain in the main auditorium of the tabernacle for their teaching time. All morning services will conclude at 11:10 a.m., and morning In-Cabin Bible Studies will start at 11:45 a.m. Lunch is at 12:30 p.m. The rest of the day’s schedule is the same as in previous years.

BUS ROUTES/WALKING TRAILS TO PRICE’S FALLS

In 2016 we will run one bus route on grounds. The bus will pick up at the bus stop in front of the Jordan Welcome Center and run to Price’s Falls and the Rec Fields.

There are now two scenic walking trails that lead from the main campus to Price’s Falls. Students are free to walk either trail to Price’s Falls and catch a bus there to the Rec fields. This will help keep bus traffic down on the main campus.

The North Trail is accessed by exiting the North gate, turning right, going about 150 yards, and then turning left just before the rock bridge. Signs along the road will mark the trail head.

The South Trail can be accessed across the Nunny Bridge, which is directly in front of the Kannady Lodge. The trail runs along the south side of the creek in front of Durant, First’s cabin and all the way to the end of the road and beyond until it ends at the Low Water Bridge, just above Price’s Falls. Campers may cross over the street to the walkway side of the bridge and walk down into Price’s Falls.

APOLOGETICS FORUM

Hugely popular in 2015, the Apologetics Forum returns in 2016 with a new venue, the Event Center, Main Room. We will have student handouts, trading pins and t-shirts to giveaway at this event and look forward to students taking advantage of this unique opportunity for personal growth.

ADULT LEADERSHIP INVESTMENT

This year, ALI will have two components. One is a come-and-go reception in the Event Center following the evening service on the Monday night of camp, 9-10 p.m. There will be refreshments, giveaways, and plenty of interaction with our Falls Creek staff and other church leaders. The other ALI offering is a breakout conference from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon, in the Massey Chapel. We will discuss how to use small groups for lasting impact.

STUDENT BREAKOUTS

There are many time and location changes for our student breakouts this year. Be sure and consult the Lead Sponsor Book for all days and times.

FALLS CREEK LIVE!

Again this year, we are giving an opportunity for musically-talented students to play a two-song set list on Tuesday or Thursday evening, after the evening service, starting at 9 p.m. We are excited to have a new venue for this event, the Event Center Plaza! We will accept two-three groups per night. For sign up and details about Falls Creek LIVE!, go to www.skopos.org. NOTE: Students may not sign up for this event by themselves. Church leaders MUST sign up students for them to perform.

More information on all changes for 2016 can be found in the Lead Sponsor Book, which is available online at www.skopos.org.
