On Monday, September 15, Oklahoma pastors, church leaders, and believers from across the state will gather at Southern Hills Baptist Church in Oklahoma City for a powerful experience: Send Network One Day. This local event, hosted by Send Network Oklahoma and the North American Mission Board, is designed to unite churches around one goal—multiplying disciples and churches everywhere for everyone.

The One Day event is part of a strategic shift from larger regional gatherings to more accessible, localized experiences, helping pastors and planters engage the mission of church planting right where they live and serve.

The keynote speaker for the day will be Dean Inserra, Lead Pastor of City Church in Tallahassee, Florida, and author of The Unsaved Christian. Dean’s messages will speak directly to the challenge of cultural Christianity and the urgency of gospel clarity in our communities. His insights have equipped churches across the country to see their mission fields more clearly and respond with bold, Spirit-led strategies.

Worship music will be led by City Wide Worship (citywideworship.us), a dynamic, bilingual worship team known for creating an atmosphere that transcends language and cultural barriers. Their leadership will set the tone for a day centered on prayer, worship, and movement toward God’s mission.

In addition to inspiring general sessions, attendees will have access to a variety of breakout sessions designed to equip and encourage in practical ways. Topics will be relevant for every believer, not just planters or pastors. Whether you’re discerning a call to plant, leading a local church, or simply want to be more faithful in your neighborhood, these sessions will provide tools and encouragement to take your next step.

Recognizing the growing diversity of our state, Send Network One Day will also include Spanish-language breakout sessions, full Spanish translation of the main sessions, and translation services for other languages as needed, ensuring broad accessibility for all who attend.

“This is more than an event,” says Rusty Gunn, Send Network Oklahoma Director. “It’s a rally point for the mission. Whether you’re a pastor ready to send, a man sensing a call to plant, or a church member wondering how to make disciples in your context—this day is for you.”

Space is limited, and registration is open now at this link. Bring a friend, a ministry partner, or someone in your church exploring the next step in engaging God’s mission through church planting.
