Dear Oklahoma Baptists,

Jesus said, “I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields. They are ripe for harvest.” I truly believe the mission field in Oklahoma is ripe for harvest.

In fact, “Mission: Oklahoma” is the theme for this year’s Oklahoma State Missions Offering. The message behind it is clear: God has called us as Oklahoma Baptists to share the Gospel with every person in this state, to reach them for Christ so they, too, can share in the salvation and new life found in Him.

There is a great urgency to our task, because the number of unreached people in Oklahoma is vast. When you give to the Oklahoma State Missions Offering, you are supporting missions and ministries that help us reach every person and part of this state for Christ.

Your State Missions Offering helps Chad Clement and Mission OKC Church to feed children who go without food in Oklahoma and also sharing the spiritual food of the Gospel.

Your gifts help people like Chunhai Li, one of our Asian church planting leaders, who is reaching people in Lawton for the Lord.

Your offering giving also supports the Haskins School of Christian Ministry, which is equipping people like Native American church planter Emmitt McKenzie, who was radically saved and is now serving in the ministry.

Efforts like the State Missions Offering can remind us that together we can do more to reach people with the Gospel than we can alone. To that end, now is the time to give and go, and now is the time to reach deep and give through the Oklahoma State Missions Offering.

Please join Polla and me in giving a generous gift through the State Missions Offering, as we embrace our Mission: Oklahoma.
