DAVIS—On Nov. 20 – 22, Oklahoma Baptists Youth Ministry will host the 2025 Oklahoma Youth Ministry Forum (OKYM Forum) at Falls Creek Conference Centers. This two-day youth ministry training conference is designed for any adult leader involved in their church’s youth ministry, no matter their role.
OKYM Youth Forum sees over 200 youth ministry leaders attend each year, providing them with times of encouragement, community, conversation and collaboration between each other. In addition to general sessions, there are 19 additional breakout sessions covering various topics including teaching planning, communication, media, promotion and more.
Chuck Peters, Director of Lifeway NextGen, is the main speaker of the event. Peters oversees Lifeway Kids and Lifeway Student publishing. He has co-authored Flip The Script: Disrupting Tradition for the Sake of the Next Generation, and is the host of the ETCH NextGen Ministry Podcast. Peters is driven by a passion to equip and inspire ministry leaders. Singer, songwriter and worship leader Davy Thompson is leading worship for the event.
Meals will be provided during the conference. Lodging is available through the Falls Creek Hotel for $80 per room or Falls Creek Cabin rentals which can be done through the cabin owners. There are also various off-site hotel options.
Regular Bird registration is open until Nov. 6. Cost to register is $145 for a full-time Attendee attending both days and $85 for a spouse or youth volunteer attending both days. Late Bird registration begins Nov. 7 where the spouse and youth volunteer registration cost increases to $100.
