Cooperative Program Sunday
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the Cooperative Program. Cooperative Program (CP) Sunday, the annual day in which Southern Baptist churches can highlight and recognize the missions and ministries supported through the CP, is set for Sunday, Oct. 5. Oklahoma Baptists invite pastors across the state to take time out of their usual Sunday morning worship services to educate church members on what the CP is and how it works. Churches can show promotional videos, create displays or give a report for how their church allocates part of its budget to the CP, pray for CP-supported missions and more. Some churches invite a guest such as a missionary or a ministry leader from one of the national or state convention ministries to speak about the CP. For more information and to download CP resources, visit oklahomabaptists.org/cooperative-program.
