DAVIS—Much can be appreciated about the experiences at Falls Creek Baptist Conference Center, but one element that happens during the Falls Creek youth summer weeks has lasting, even eternal, results. That element is the invitation time at the end of the evening service when students make decisions for Christ.
With thousands upon thousands of such decisions that have been made in the almost 100 years of Falls Creek, this year’s summer weeks have seen additional campers make professions of faith, rededicate their lives and surrender to the call to ministry. At the time of publication, during the first two weeks of Falls Creek, more than 650 total decisions have been made.
During the Tuesday evening service of the second week, June 8-12, with Andy Taylor, pastor of Ponca City, First, (pictured on stage) serving as camp speaker, 66 professions of faith were made among the 114 total decisions that night. The Wednesday evening service witnessed 69 professions of faith and 148 total decisions.
