SHAWNEE—Oklahoma Baptist University’s (OBU) Warren M. Angell School of Visual and Performing Arts invites high school students in grades 10–12 to campus for MOSAIC, an immersive arts experience to be held on April 8, 2026. Hosted on the OBU campus, MOSAIC offers a full day of artistic exploration, creativity and inspiration.
MOSAIC provides students the opportunity to explore a variety of artistic and creative disciplines, including art, music, public relations and social media, film and theatre. Throughout the day, participants will engage in hands-on workshops and observe demonstrations led by OBU faculty and students, designed to spark creativity and deepen understanding of the arts.
This free event, presented by the Warren M. Angell School of Visual and Performing Arts, is designed to connect high school students with OBU faculty and current students while showcasing the university’s creative community. Attendees will also tour Bison Hill, gaining firsthand experience of life and learning within OBU’s arts programs.
“We are excited to welcome young, aspiring artists and creatives to MOSAIC,” said Ben Baxter, chair of the Division of Art and Design and the Division of Communication Arts. “This event offers students the opportunity to explore their interests, develop their skills and envision how their creativity can grow in a collegiate setting.”
