DAVIS—Leaders with Oklahoma Baptists’ state convention recently announced that Chad Fielding, who most recently served as Operations Manager at Falls Creek, will step into the role of Conference Centers Director.

Chad Fielding

Fielding, who has worked in various capacities at Falls Creek since 1995, takes over for Andy Harrison, who retired from the role in 2023 and recently became pastor at Pauls Valley, Trinity.

In his new role, Fielding will oversee the facilities and operations of both Falls Creek and CrossTimbers Mission Adventure Camp.

“Chad is a servant-leader, with a heart for the Gospel-mission of Falls Creek and CrossTimbers,” said Todd Fisher, executive director-treasurer for Oklahoma Baptists. “He has helped lead and serve at Falls Creek through many years and many important times, and we have the highest confidence in him as he accepts this new challenge.”

Prior to serving in Operations at Falls Creek, Fielding also served as Maintenance Director and Food Servies Director at Falls Creek. During his tenure at Falls Creek, Fielding has served under six conference center directors, including his own father Gary Fielding, who served from 1993 to 2007.

As Conference Center Director, Fielding will oversee Oklahoma Baptists camp properties, buildings, budgets, security and staff, both during camp season in the summer and year-round.

“I am humbled and grateful for this opportunity to serve the Lord and Oklahoma Baptists in this way,” Fielding said. “I have always viewed my role as making sure things go smoothly at camp, so that there are no distractions to the gospel being heard.”

Fielding and his wife Jennifer have two sons, Ethan and Wyatt. They are active members of Dougherty, First.

“We have a great team at Falls Creek and CrossTimbers that I’m honored to serve alongside,” Fielding added.

In addition to announcing Fielding, Oklahoma Baptist leaders named Jason Copenhaver as Associate Director of Conference Centers. Copenhaver, of Pauls Valley, previously served on staff as Camp Services Manager at Falls Creek.
