Approximately 250 women were encouraged and spiritually enriched during the 2025 Hispanic Women’s Ministry Conference, July 19 at Oklahoma City, Capitol Hill.

The theme of the event, which was presented by Oklahoma Baptists’ Women’s Ministry, was “Rooted in Faith,” based on Colossians 2:6–7, “For such a one, this punishment by the majority is enough, so you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow.”

The lead conference speaker was Natalia Garcia Gogolakis. A testimony was shared by Rosalba Hernandez Ruiz, and worship through music was led by Bruno and Plashiel Rojas.

In addition to the keynote speech, breakout sessions were offered on three topics:

  • “Rooted in His Word,” led by Hidekel Solorio
  • “Standing Firm in the Storm,” led by Anny Cabrera; and
  • “Bearing Fruit in His Time,” led by Valerie Ventura-Solis

Yanet Arauz, of Oklahoma City, Redemption Church, said, “The speakers did a great job, and the messages truly touched the heart.”

Amanda Borunda, of Redención Church said, “Everything was very well organized, and the speakers were excellent.”

Another participant in the event remarked, “I loved the idea of having breakout sessions. It made the event feel more personal. It was very helpful to hear different perspectives and practical advice.”

In response to the testimony, one attendee said, “God confirmed that He is pleased when we forgive and let go of bitterness.”

All registered attendees received notebooks for Bible study, prayer and a weekly planner with Scripture memory.
