I am so glad that Representative Rex Duncan declined the copy of the Qur-an. Mostly I am very happy that he made it quite clear why he declined it. I wish we had more people like Mr. Duncan who speak boldly about situations such as this. And I believe Mr. Keith McArthor is totally wrong. We don't have extremists in Islam. As a former Muslim myself, well educated and trained in Islam, but praise God now saved by the blood of Jesus Christ, I would like to say that these people are not extremists, they are true Muslims. The majority of Muslims don't kill infidels because of a few reasons. First, they don't really know their Qur-an and their prophet. The Qur-an makes it very clear that you must be a Muslim or you should die. In one of his last sermons in the mosque Mohammad said: "I descended by Allah with the Sword in my hand, and my wealth will come from the shadow of my Sword. And the one who will disagree with me will be humiliated and persecuted." (Al-Bokhari, book 52).
Secondly if the majority of Muslims don't kill infidels it is because they are logical thinkers and they know this kind of action is barbaric.Thirdly, they don't because they are afraid they will be killed or thrown in jail. We as Christians do need to take a firm stand for what we know is right and true in the eyes of our Lord. While Mr. Duncan's actions might not have been politically correct, he was right.
Sincerely,
Rev. Tony Emamghoraishi

I am proud of the men who had the guts not to accept it. Should they also be forced to accept hate propaganda from a Nazi? The liberal would jump back and forth on the definition of common courtesy in each scenario. Thank God for conservative Christians!
