FIRST PERSON: Is Oklahoma 'ripe' for genuine revival?

Each day, I thank God for the privilege of serving in Oklahoma. While we are certainly not in sweeping revival, God has mercifully blessed with factors that could help facilitate a move of His Spirit. As I travel our state, I see key things that give real hope for a powerful move of God.

I read this article and felt like I was reading my own prayer thoughts. I have had an extremely powerful burden to pray for a spiritual revival in my community and in our state for over eight years. I have spent many hours on my knees prostrate before God begging for revival and also many moments of just praying those same thoughts in my heart and soul. God has given me this burden and it has been a blessing to pray for revival. I sometimes feel that I am praying alone, because I know of very few in this area that share my burden. However, I know that God is working and that He desires a spiritual awakening more than I do. He knows how desperately our state and nation need it and how powerful it will be when it begins to descend upon our nation. I continue to pray for this daily. I know that my prayers have been heard. I hope that others that share this burden will also continue to pray. I would love to connect with anyone else who shares this burden. I would love to know that I am not praying alone in Oklahoma. If you share this burden for spiritual awakening, please leave a comment on this website so I will know that there are others who pray also for a spiritual awakening.
